Ads don't work anymore

My evil plan to get rich on Google ads was foiled! I never updated the code snippet that was supposed to display ads, and, for one, it tries to serve the ads over HTTP rather than HTTPS. Well, recent browsers flatly refuse to render such mixed content. Also, it looks like there's a new convention for authorizing ads, the ads.txt file.
